Janette McGregor in Profile

I like to make works that engage the viewer, to promote discussion whether by their quirky nature of environmental message.   My passions are realism in a surreal setting, still life and sculpture.   I hope you enjoy these works as much as I have enjoyed creating them to bring a moment of humour into your life!   In the painting Going Going Gone, I have depicted the animals, birds and sea creature floating across a surreal landscape. Some are already extinct such as the Gouldian Finch, Tasmanian Tiger and the Crescent Nail Tail Wallaby. Whilst the others are endangered: the Dingo, Bilby, Cassowary, Dugong and the Northern Hairy Nosed Wombat.
